Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for her role in the film Bo. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She's the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. They renewed their vows on on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton with a Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's birth took place in May 2013and had a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's work on television has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans the joyous news that she had become pregnant on the set of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase during a special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the premiere. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. On June 20, 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was back to work on the show. The character she played Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Because of the show's popularity, Silk has earned a significant online following on social media.
