Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996. Her professional name is Aurora. Her name could be spelled in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well welcomed by blogs about music. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of her best-known songs. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding an instrument in her attic and being awed by the music it could make. Her parents May-Britt as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to study music, not for a profession or a pastime, but to grow. She started writing lyrics of her own. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork as being her influences. She began performing her music in public when her mother suggested that they might help others not be famous with her work but to make the people around them understand the importance of their work and how they could impact the world. She started playing piano at age six and making music when she was 9 years old. She didn't tell her family about her musical journey until she was 14. Aurora was not a dream of her childhood.
